I have a confession to make. I was excitedly preparing for the event on 15 Jan. Excited because this is my "virgin event" ;-) The first in 2017 as I have just stepped away from the corporate world to the entrepreneurial world.
As you have noticed, I posted and posted quite a bit about the event the week before and it's essentially to promote the pre-order that I have made available. It seemed like a great idea. A PRE-ORDER.
In any case, although I was promoting it and was half wishing that it would do well and that I would have lots of people wanting it, in reality I promoted half heartedly. I was at some deep level not believing that it will fly off. Like I was thinking - its a pre-order, who would buy a pre-order?
Plus I was worried deep inside that the recording will not work properly because I bought a brand new Sony to record the event and although we tested it out and being a Sony camera everything was great about it - no complains - I was really not sure. It was a 3 hour event. I was not sure if the battery will last or whether the camera will overheat during the recording. (gosh! you get the drift?)
So you see. All this energy did not resulted in me selling lots of my pre-order. In fact I did sell it and guess what - I was actually taken by surprise when the order came in!!! LOL
So what am I trying to tell you. I am trying to say that when you intend for something to happen and deep inside you have so many different worries and stories about what might or might not happen, it doesn't work.
When you intend on something. Anything at all and I know you want sales, a dream job, the works and if you are doing that and at the same time thinking at some level that it will not work. Then IT WOULD'NT.
I teach this stuff right? And I still fell under the trap. Intention with stories and half heartedness. In any case, fast forward to the actual event. It was superb. I had a wonderful time and so did the participants.
As far as the actual event was concerned, I did not have any story at all. In fact, I prepared for the event with all my heart and I knew I will aced it. I love to present. I love events and presentation so it was a piece of cake. In fact, every time I stand in front of a crowd - I feel energized. Charged up and I am at my best.
So I was not worried about the event nor the presentation. I did not fuss about whether the food will be good. I knew we had a nice place and there was a little concern about the parking but it nothing really bothered me.
And as it turns out, it was super duper fantabulous. The content was excellent and people eyes were opened. They were just amazed at the information, insights, learnings that they got. I know what I have presented was so revolutionary that it kind of woke everyone up.
So there was good review. Good vibes. So yeah... I was/am satisfied.
And I realized that although such revolutionary techniques that I teach is pretty common in the West, the average Asian have no clue. And I am guessing the average Westerner has no clue too. So you are in for a treat. :-)
So moral of the story? When you set an intention. DO NOT DOUBT. And it will FLY.
I will be selling the actual recording. YESSSSSS...!! Now that it is ready and it is all wow - fabulous. And everything is clear. I am so glad that I can now actually with a great relief post this for sale. :-)
When I open this for sale, it will be only $37. No more 30 minutes coaching thrown in. That's gone!!! And I have received tons of mails asking to extend the date for the pre-order. So no pre-order. The actual order and I will be opening the recorded event for sale soon.
